My husband purchased a GPS system. He actually wanted to call and cancel it when he received a phone call asking if he wanted to add a 5-year warranty and a "much needed" antenna for the system. My husband declined the warranty but accepted the antenna.

Upon reviewing the invoice when the package arrived, he was surprised to find that he was charged over $500 (including the unwanted warranty) for his purchase which shouldn't have been anymore than $400. After attempting to set-up the GPS, he decided that it was not working. It wouldn't hold a charge or connect with BlueTooth. We wanted to return the whole thing, but much to our surprise, when we called the company, we were greeted by an unfriendly Customer Service Representative. She tried to tell us that the warranty, which we didn't want to begin with was non-refundable and the antenna was on sale and therefore non-refundable as well. She also yelled at both my daughter and my husband. They were not allowed to speak, but instead were yelled at by the representative and then hung up on.

When I tried to call, I was connected to Allen who supposedly writes the policies. Without actually asking about the situation, he just began to recite the policy in a very unprofessional tone. When I asked if I could speak, he just raised his voice and told me "no". We are currently in the process of having the credit card company reverse the charges.
