Digital E-Tailer Inc ripoff 1st XGrandma in MN sends Daughter in AZ gift, on visit discovers item ord&pd4, NO They send-cheap-one@sameprice!

Confirmation order/purchase order for Fugi Zoom Digital Camera @ 477.OO and 2 Smart Cards ordered and charged by Minnesota Grandmother to Daughter in Arizona shortly after birth of first grandchild.

Wanting so much to make it easy to capture the many moments of their granddaughters life that they would otherwise miss altogether, they want to send her the same camera they have and their son has, as they are well accoustomed to setting up the computers and software to copy edit save and email with the Fugi model ordered above. As wel, they are proficient in working the camera in still and video modes.

This was important, since her brother was going to configure her computer and teach her all the ins and outs of it when she went to Minn @ end of Sept for Grandpas Bday and party for bros going off to Oxford grad school.

It was on visiting that it was learned that it was not the camera ordered. The confirmation order page was compared to the shipping statement-Invoice#115389 SOL TO XXX MINNESOTA SHIP TO XXX ARIZONA - #1 DIMAGE F100 MINOLTA DIMAGE F100 DIGITAL CAMERA $447.OO #2 DG-64SM HQA HIGH SPEED64MB SMART CARD MEDIA (@52.38ea) $104.76 Shipping $24.95 Non-Taxable Subtotal $551.76 Total $576.71

Brother called several times to try and straighten out and they were abusive and unwilling to right the wrong-clearly they charged for and had purchase/confirmation order for FUGI and clearly CHEAPER MINOLTA SENT IN ITS PLACE and TYPED INTO SHIPPING STATEMENT AS GIFT ORDERED!:(ONLY AFTER MULTIPLE phone CALLS and eMAILS TO DIGITALeTAILER THAT WERE WROUGHT WITH OFFENSIVE-ABUSIVE-AND-INEXCUSABLE-UNWILLINGNESS TO RIGHT THEIR WRONG were we finally given an address an # to apply on return box.

All ordering info confirmation documents as discussed on phone/emails and shipping statement as well as items shipped and statements from all involved (all copied of course) were packaged by Mailboxes Etc. and sent Regis-Recp-Ins as told. Mboxes called us sometime later saying DIGITALeTAILER RETURNED REFUSED...RETURN TO SENDER... NO EXPLANATION!

They tried contacting for redelivery and alternate adresses per calls and called us back stating could find no one @ DIGITALeTAILER to accept/give alternate delivery instructions. So we picked it up and lable reflects refusal. All Correspondence now gets...call was dropped several times or otherwise mysteriously disconnected, emails-some returned, others unanswered!

What is thier Problem? OR WHAT ARE THEY COVERING UP!!!? WHEN ORDER IS GIFT THEY PULL BAIT-N-SWITCH-KIND-OF-FREUDULANT-ACT-? The recipient of the gift only sees that the items shipped reflect accurately-(or so one would assume not having ordered it!) those listed on the shipping invoice and prices paid by cc of sender.

It is so infuriating and will go to what ever lengths to right it. Any suggestions gladly accepted while pursuing some other avenues we have in mind. Thanks, muchly!
