Complaint Review: Digital Pro Audio Innovative sound systems

We were stopped in a parking lot by two men(one of them stayed in the vehichle and did not talk with us) who were in an SUV. They said they worked for a company in North Salt Lake who put home theater systems in homes.
They said they had just been to a house and had ordered the wrong equipment and so there boss said they could keep it because he was going to give them a bonus anyway. So they were wondering if we wanted to by it from them.

They had catalog pages that said the speakers were worth $1295.00 each, and information about the equipment. They even had an invoice and an address in the area that showed the house that they had been to and had messed up the order.

We are not normally impulse buyers, but with much persuation and deception about the quality of the equipment and the amount we would be saving we were finally convinced. We paid $800.00 for the whole system and needless to say were disappointed from the minute we started setting it up in our home.
