Founder, President and CEO for DigitalReach, Roland Thomas has more than 21 years of software development, implementation and consulting experience. He was founder and vice president of professional services for two software integrators reselling the Baan, Oracle and SAP ERP's software and consulting services. Previously, he worked 12 years at Northern Telecom (Nortel) in systems and program management for their world manufacturing facilities.

Co-Founder and Executive Vice President of Operations for DigitalReach, Manan Shah, brings 10 years of technology experience. He has held positions with ERP Technologies as the Director of the Oracle and SAP consulting practice and in a joint venture in India with Ygyan Consulting involving SAP implementations. Previously he was at Cap Gemini America as a supply chain expert on ERP implementations and process engineering.

These individuals along with Pangasinense Amador Apungan Pastrana has managed to elude authorities across the globe who want to pin him down for the shenanigans of his alleged boiler room firms.

Indeed, Pastrana, who is said to head a global network of collapsible companies that hype nearly worthless stocks to gullible investors and then just suddenly close shop months later, remains free to enjoy the billions of dollars he is reported to have earned in the few years that he has been in business.

And despite raids last year in Bangkok and Manila, boiler rooms still thrive in both cities as well as other places around the world. Authorities also admit that these operations have grown even more sophisticated as years pass. They say that the heads of some networks have even started to buy banks, intending to use these not only to launder their money, but also to use as centers for their boiler room transactions.

James Martin, who claims to have lost $35 million to Pastrana in a completely different scam and now heads Sydney-based Stock Investigation Research Society (SIRS), says, Those that were picked up by authorities (so far) were just small fry. They haven't gotten the big ones (like Pastrana).

James Martin firm Bertren USA Holding through Amador Pastrano provided $5 million in seed funding. The additional capital to enable DigitalReach to continue to develop its product, build its business, expand its infrastructure, as well as to support marketing efforts and hiring of industry talent.

The funding comes through the purchase of common stocks from Berten USA Holdings, a publicly traded company (Pink Sheets; "BTUS"). In 1999 Web Ventures had raised private capital from founders, family and friends.

They then successful completion of their second round of funding. The $2 million in funds are earmarked to launch the company's flagship product, which is designed to enhance the human resource recruiting process.

The second round of financing was entirely funded by Berten Holdings USA. Amid a weakening financial market, the funding demonstrates the continued credibility of DigitalReach and the confidence of their investors.


Both Manan Shah and Roland Thomas owned 20% of Creative Technology Entertainment, Creative Technology Interactive and Creative Technology Holding of wich Amador Pastrano owned 70% through his shell company UR Capital.

Manan Shah and Roland Thomas have used assets from CTH, CTE and CTI to fund Digital Reach in lieu of providing these funds to settle debts in excess of $1,000,000 to the debtors of their companies.

They have an ongoing relationship with Amador Pastrano and continute to collaborate with him.
