Digitaldealz's website did indeed have a great deal on the camcorder I was looking for. However, I did call to verify the camera was in stock and was told it was, but to order online. I did and was frustrated when there was no alternative shipping address offered other than the billing address.

When I received the e-mail order verification, I e-mailed a reply asking for a different shipping address, but never got a reply back. I did get a telephone message, and when I returned the call, it was a sleezy sales person trying to tell me I had to order the additional $200 starter kit in order for the camera to ship. I asked if I needed the kit for the camera to be ready to go, and he said no, but the manufacturer would not let them ship without it. I said I would call back in two days to let them know whether or not I wanted it.

When I called back to cancel, I was rudely told that the order had already been cancelled. I then immediately sent an e-mail message that the order should be cancelled and that I would be alerting my credit card company to notify me if a charge from digitaldealz.com appeared.

Today, four days later, I have an e-mail message from them asking me to call and verify my order! I e-mailed a reply that the order had been already cancelled by them and then myself.

I have printed out all the e-mail correspondence, but I am fearful that I will have to put up with this for a while. I too wish I had not given them my credit card information.
