I ran across this company on a review site, cnet.com, and chose them because their shipping fee was slightly less than another. I ordered a digital camera, without accessories, 1.5 weeks before I was to leave on vacation, plenty of time for shipping.

The trouble started when I went out of town for a few days. Four days after the order was placed, a call was placed to my house, from Peter, saying that there was a problem with my order. My parents called to investigate and were told that the three numbers from the back of the card were necessary, even though they hadn't been required on the order form. As it turns out, this was only an excuse to call and push an accessory package, which my parents decided to buy as a gift to me.

When I returned, I was told about the call, and told that the company would eat the cost for overnight delivery, this was a Friday. Monday arrived, and the package had not arrived. After several calls, I was told that there had been a problem in the billing dept., but a 10 second conversation with them showed that they had no problem.

My camera arrived the next day, without a memory card, a call revealed that it was on backorder, which hadn't been mentioned during the call the previous day, so I cancelled the card. For someone who was supposed to be personally handling this, Peter was no help at all.

While on vacation, I received an email saying the card had been shipped. I also discovered that my battery charger was shipped broken. When I returned, I spent about two months trying to get ahold of someone at DigitalEtailer to handle a return. I was consistently either transferred to someone who wasn't there, and wouldn't return calls, or "disconnected." After many calls, and many unreturned emails, I finally talked to someone who could help.

In the end, an order that should have been completed in 7 days, took 3 months to resolve. I fear there are many who wouldn't have kept calling, and would have gotten taken in the end.

There are many others with similar complaints.
If you want hassle free, or any sort of cometence. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
