I ordered a camera for my daughter on Monday in all good faith. On Tuesday I received an email all but demanding that I contact them by phone and immediately called back. I confirmed the order and got an email for the total.

Wednesday I sent a reply to that email questioning some prices. I found that I could purchase an actual Canon OEM battery for $45, while the long-life battery was only for me, today only, while I am finishing the order only would be $89, not $149. Not having other info at the time and getting verbally strong armed, I agreed to purchase that battery.

As of Friday and I had heard nothing further. I called Friday and was treated rather rudely by a Jeremy. I called back and spoke to Lionel who assured me at 2:15 that within a half hour, I would have a tracking number. I was also told that day since we get so many emails each day, it is impossible to respond to them. So I asked for their FAX number and was made to feel as though I had asked the NSA for their security encryption codes for all the atomic devices east of the Mississippi.

The warranty I was sold, also a special one-time only deal now seems suspect as well. The warranty offered on the website is from MACK. I have been in touch with them and they do not sell ANY warranties that cover accidental damage and breakage. I asked SEVERAL times about this type of coverage and was ASSURED that OF COURSE that is covered. So what company is my warranty through? Does it in FACT cover accidental damage and breakage? I have received no answers to this question either.

According to their website, nothing has shipped, even though the person with whom I spoke Tuesday said everything was in stock and shipped that day. Lionel also told me everything was shipped. I still have no tracking information. On Sunday I am told the shipping department is closed and will re-open Monday.

We all expected, with the camera shipping from New York, that we would have it by Thursday or at the latest Friday. After another rather rude treatment today, Sunday, I was told that nothing ships from Brooklyn, everything ships from a California warehouse.

I have called the credit card company to dispute the charges and wonder if my daughter will ever get a camera.
