Complaint Review: Dimension Moving And Storage

I contacted Dimension Moving to move my things from Monterey to San Jose, CA on Nov 1, 2008. I spoke with their sales person, Peter. After sending him an inventory list of my items, he sent me back an estimate for $462.00.

He said that I would not be charged double drive time. He also promised me the driver would be at my place no later that 9:00 am.

The driver showed up at 11:15 am and at the end of my move in San Jose, I was charged double time and given a bill of $900.00. The driver also told me that if I didn't pay the $900 that he would leave and would not bring my things back until I paid the company $900.

I paid the money requested and called the company the following work day and protested to Dimension Moving customer service to try to resolve the overcharge issue. After many phone calls, I was told by a customer person named Samantha that the owner of the company felt the way I was treated fairly and no compensation was warranted.

If you use this company, you do so at your own risk.

If you're reading this review, my personal recommendation to you is to look for another company.
