Direc Way rip-off! Here's some suggestions for victims. North Lauderdale Florida
I will not go into the long 6 months worth of problems I had. I can tell you that the day I stopped service direcway took another $300.00 from my credit card even as I was on the phone with them. I told them not to do it. As a Fire Fighter in north florida I don't make threats I cannot back up. So, Try one of the following.
1) If you paid for your service with credit card. Have your service discontinued. File the paper work to put it in dispute.
2) You can take them to small claims court. Call your local court house to get info. It generally coast 100.00 to 200.00
3) You can find lawyers in the general practice area that will take these cases. for under 800.00
For me I am in the credit card stage. you can only go back a certain length of time, but it does not cost you anything.
My next step will be small claims. The sad thing is that this company does not care what you do. They have your money and that is all that matters to them. My advice fight back. I don't care if it cost me 2000.00 It is the principle of it and I will when. Good luck.
