Complaint Review: Direct Build Partners

He sold us a construction franchise. He asked for $75,000 and promise that within 45 days we will start building a subdivision.

I bought the franchise in December of 2006, in October of 2007 we called him and visited him at his office which was already closed so we tracked him down to a restaurant he bought. He tried to blame somebody else in order to not refund us with the money, after making a conference call with the guys he told were responsible and a legal suit threat he promised to pay us back in installments accepting his responsability and also saying that he didnt have the money anymore.

We waited until January of 2008 and nothing happened so we called him again just to realize that he ran away.

Now, we are pressing theft charges since he is a fugitive and stole our money, even the restaurant that he bought has closed.
