Direct Buy of South Jersey and all other Direct Buy throughout the US and Canada are engaged in deceptive business practices.

They claim that they can save you money by allowing you to buy directly from manufacturers for furniture and other items for the home. They use high pressure "timeshare" like sales pitches. They charge a huge membership fee - over $4,000.

Once they add in the shipping and handling fees, the savings are marginal at best. there are problems with every order. many items are "discontinued." It takes so much time and effort to look through the catalogs and place orders. With all the problems that you encounter and all the time and effort it takes to get anything done right, there are NO SAVINGS to be had. Many times it ends up costong more than regular RETAIL.

The agreement is so flimsy. All it entitles you to do is look through dealer catalogs -- that is really all you get for your money. Sure you can order from them, but like I said, good luck saving any money.

I do not know how they have managed to stay in business. I fell for this and will vigorously attempt to get my money back.

Compared to prices at retailers and online, we've saved using Direct Buy. Even with retailers and purchasing products online, you have to pay shipping & handling charges.

Direct Buy was one of the greatest decisions we made after deciding to remodel our home.

and maybe it WAS BestBuy. I do not remember their name. We did not buy. We never regretted that decision.

"I do not know how they have managed to stay in business." Well, they have!

Good luck!!
