I purchased a package of equipment through Fellers, a Sign Supply Company and the leasing company was direct capital.  We had a wide format printer for a couple of months when it started acting up in the middle of a large job.  We had to beg Fellers to send someone out and when they did, they didn't believe the guy THEY sent.  Instead they are saying it was either operator error and or the material.  Material Fellers provided....  This issue has been going on for over a month and Feller has yet to "make a determination of the problem".  In the meantime, I lost a terrific amount of material and ink that they kept requesting we use and they are unwilling to send new replacements.  When I kept complaining to Direct Capital that we are not getting any where with Fellers, they didn't care either.  They had thier signature.  These two conglomerants squash the little guy like nothing.  When I continued to seek an answer from both and threatened to not pay the lease payment till someone told me what was happening, this was McCaffrey's reply

"Dianna Im sorry that you are having an issue with the equipment still. However that has nothing to do with Direct Capital, read your contract it clearly states in Paragraph 2 label Equipment , that Your only remedy is against its supplier or manufacturer and you have no remedy for damages against us With that said I would highly advise you not to stop paying Direct Capital its money, because it is a battle that you will not win, trust me. Further more again if you continually email Direct Capital on this matter we will start to report you and your company for harassment. We have tried to help you. We have refunded the 1K that you complained about thats all that we have control about. At the end of the day we referred Fellers, but you chose them. First you had a problem with Grimco, than Direct Capital, now Fellers. Maybe the problem isnt all, the crooked companies you deal with maybe it is you. So I am asking you for the last time please take the matter up with Fellers and do not threaten to stop paying because we will simply repo the equipment and you will be out whatever money you have spent. Mike

He said he tried to help us but all he did was tell us to go back to Fellers.

This a definitely a goliath in a sea david's.  This has to stop.  These people pull you in till you trust them.  They are like your best friends till something happens.  There is sooo much more, I could go on forever.

Direct Capital takes no position on the issues that the customer has with the equipment. If there are issues with the equipment this customer would need to work with the vendor that supplied the equipment.

For example, if a customer has issue with a new car that was purchased 6 months ago the consumer would go the the car dealership.  The customer would have no need to go to the company that financed the car.
