I, too, received the now infamous yellow letter stating that I could earn up to $1000.00 per week to sit at home and stuff envelopes. Normally I would have jumped on it as it is nearing the holidays and I am homebound in my 8 month of pregnancy with twins. Heck, even my husband was interedted in doing it too, as a secondary job.
But I had a sickening feeling in my stomach and I said, "Hey. Lets check them out first!" So I got online and went to search praying to find something positive about this company. Unfortunately my gut feeling was correct. There is NOTHING but bad news about this company and my heart breaks for those who actually sent in the money hoping to better their lives. It's pretty sad when people find it amusing to scam people, especially around the holidays.

My husband is ex-law enforcement and my mother-in-law is a paralegal and when I approached her on the subject, she informed me that this scam is a form of MAIL FRAUD... a FEDERAL OFFENSE! I encourage everyone who reads this, whether they have sent money in or not, to contact the local media and to actually take the time to write a letter to John Ashcroft. If enough of us do this and contiune to write him, eventually something will be done. You won't get your money back and I am sorry about that. But, we can protect others and possibly get some revenge.

Here is Ashcroft's Address:
John Ashcroft
US Department of Justice
950 Pennsylvania Ave NW

Best regards to all! Protect yourselves and have a blessed holiday season!
