Direct Merchants bank is corrupt and should be shut down. They had raised my credit limit without my permission and when i got close enough that their overlimit fee would push me over they charged it. Then raised my interest from 12% to 28.8% the highest possible in my state. They put me on "re-aging" programs to help me to pay my now out of control debt and at the end of the programs (which were in three monthly installments of 300+ bucks) they told me that i was never in their "re-aging" program and my balance wouldnt be brought down.

They did this to me twice under the false pretence that it would help me manage the debt. They then suggested credit couseling which they proceded to turn down. After months of calling after 9pm and at least 12 times every day they are threatening judgement against me.

You cant squeeze blood from a turnip right, and thanks to their corrupt and unfair charging of overlimit, late fees and interest rates I have no means of paying them. I wonder how the US government agency that handles this lets them go by untouched.
