Direct Merchants Bank/Travel Extras credit card just a big rip off.
I have had a dispute with this company since Aug 01 and they don't do a thing to correct the problem. Their personnel is the most incompetent people you can imagine. They have my account showing as delinquent even though is being disputed. Now I have a bad credit rating where before my credit was good. I have sent them several letters in the past but the only respond I get is that my account is delinquent and that I need to make another payment. It states very clearly in the back of their statements that when a charge is being disputed, it does not accumulate interest and it does not go delinquent. Every month I receive a letter from them telling my account is delinquent and to send a payment asap. I have made several payments but the account is still delinquent and the dollar amount doesn't go down. I'm extyremely dissapointed at these people and now I'm going to take legal action.
This company is just a big rip off.
