Complaint Review: Direct One Communications

Direct One Communications ripoff dirty SOB's hassel the hell out of them. Report them to any and every agency you can. Don't cower down...you can get $$ back Santa Ana California

I am yet another victim of Direct One. Yes, I was duped with the "free" phone card...and yes...somehow these sobs got my debit card number and took my money.

However, I did not go belly up and give in to them. I was furious. I am a recently widowed mother of 4 boys on a very limited income and every penny I have is precious to me. So when these asses decided to take my money they picked the wrong person.

First thing I did was go down to my bank, and filed a fraud claim to protect my innocence and get the ball rolling. They had me call my local police where I filed another fraud claim and the police had be go to the FBI web site where I filed yet another fraud claim. Then I went to work on Direct One.

I would say in the last 10 days I have called them approximately 20 times. They're stupid enough to have a toll free number.....I'm stubborn enough to sit on hold for endless minutes to interigate anyone I could get hold of. I called five times in a row one day, they kept hanging up on me..idiots. Oh...and never ask for a supervisor...they amazingly are constantly "Having meetings and can't be disturbed".

After I was told about 10 times that my money would be credited back to my credit card on my next billing cycle I had to go to step 2. It wasn't a credit card, it was debit and no one had an answer as to how they were going to put it back. I spent the last two days demanding my money back and telling them who I had reported them to. I am happy to report that they have as of this morning, returned my money.

So don't give up...hassel the hell out of them. Report them to any and every agency you can. Don't cower down...you can get it back. I hope this will help some of you that have been ripped off. Let's put these guys out of business.
