In July of 2004 we had Direct TV installed at our home with a promotional offer being given by Direct Satellite Network Solutions of a DVD Home Theater System up on pruchase with a 6 month commitment. We move two times during our contract period and I kept in touch with Direct Satellite Network Solutions because at one point we couldn't have Direct TV where we were living so Direct TV put us on a "hold" status till we were able to start back up with them when we moved.Well - we moved and reactivated our service and I tried to contact Direct Satellite Network Solutions, but there phones were not working. So - I completed the form and submitted all of the information that was required (and I kept copies of it), I mailed this out on January 23, 2006- and have never heard a word from anyone- can't get a hold of them due to the phones not working and I am agravated and very disappointed. Of course, I have contacted Direct TV and the installation company - and guess what they say- we aren't affiliated with that company - we are not responsible for this- etc. Seems funny that Direct TV would not be the one responsible for this - since the contract is actually also with them through Direct Satellite Network Solutions, I mean really- if it weren't for the promotion, DirectTV would not have gotten all of the people to sign up for there company, sound slike they may be involved with this, just under the covers. I will never have Direct TV again, especially after the results I have gotten over the phone with not only customer service but with a supervisor. They are "just not the ones responsible" and can't seem to give you any type of information, do you think this was a set-up to get more people to sign up and then conveniently not have anyone be responsible? Hmmmm makes you wonder - being as DirectTV is so big, they could probably hide something like that pretty easy.
