I have purchased many items from Direct Shopping Network, and have had to return several because they were not what was advertised.

I purchased 2 rings in December of 2007, and when I received them the first, a Russian Demontoid with Diamonds, was much smaller than what they had shown, and the Blue Star Sapphire was not even the stone that they had shown.

I followed DSN's return policy, filled out the RMA forms on their website, and sent both rings back on 12/24/07 via US Postal Mail, complete with tracking number.

I called DSN after a month because the amount had not been refunded to my credit card, and the rep advised that they were working on it and it would appear within 3 days.

Within a few days I received a call from a DSN rep advising me that I was returning too many items, and was at risk of having my account suspended. I explained to him that what I ordered and what I received were not the same items, and that I would never order from them again. I then asked where my refund was, and he stated they were processing it.

It is now February 14, 2008, and they still have not issued my refund.

Though they are not members of the BBB, I have filed a complaint with them, along with filing a complaint with the CA and IN Attorney Generals office.

They appear to be using a bait and switch technique, which is illegal in my state, and threaten you if you return items.

Beware, this company does not live up to their own policies.
