I had purchased rubies from DSN and had to send more then 50% of the gemstones back to them. The rubies had deep cracks [large fissures] in them. I was told that the stones were, "clean as a whistle." Grant Garabedian [Art Garabedian's son] always uses this statement when he describes the clarity of a gemstone.
When DSN offers gemstones for sale, they never show on the screen what the clarity of the gemstone. Be very careful when purchasing from DSN. By June 6, 2011, they had 135 complaints against them with the BBB, click www.la.bbb.org/Home.aspx .
They have a unethical business practice of what is called, "switch and bait.' Also, the Gemological Reports that they send out are not from a certified lab. The reports are fake.
When dealing with DSN, Direct Shopping Network, buyer beware! If you send back more than 50% of your purchased items from DSN, they will put a credit hold on you. This means that they will not sell you anything, even though the products you send back are damaged or poor in quality.
