Complaint Review: Direct Source

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Beware - he(David)makes promises and NEVER follows through. I called to ask about one copier and he sold me on another one (Canon Imageclass MF5730), said that he had the best prices, it was in stock and I would have it in 3 days.

I ordered it, gave him my cc which he charged immediately and then I looked around for comparisons on the internet. I found 4 other companies that had the same machine for $47.00 less expensive and their shipping was less by $20.00. I called him back and he said he would refund my card the $20.00 and also the $47.00 on the difference of the copier. I thought he had done the $20.00 right away, but that was never done. Then I waited for the copier and it never arrived within 3 days. I called back and after talking with the receptionist (who was not having a good day), he blamed it on the factory, "It is up to them when they will ship it, not me!" It finally arrived 1 1/2 weeks after he said it would. And now after 1 1/2 months, I am still waiting for the refund on my cc. At first he said that he would have his sectary do the refund and the last email was, "Wow, $50.00 must mean alot to you! You are spending alot of time on this!" He has no intention of giving me any refund and never did. He told me what I wanted to hear to get me off his back. My advice to everyone, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! He makes false promises and does NOT follow up with his customers. He is worse than a car salesman.
