I have had Direct TV for quite a few year, including my current location. I have all of the HD equipment from and through Direct TV. About 4 months ago, I started having problems receiving HD channels. Four repair men were sent of the period of approx. 5 weeks. None could repair the problem. Therefore, I reluctantly cancelled Direct TV.

It should be understood that I was VOLUNTARILY paying over $130 per month while, at the same time, my condo association provided me with FREE PREMIUM CABLE service.

When I called to cancel my Direct TV subscription, I was informed that I owed $263 for cancelling. I find this ironic since I was happy to be a customer until THEY could not provide me with the service for which I was paying.

When you speak to a customer service representative, you cannot obtain the phone number or email for the legal department for Direct TV. In fact, you can hope for is an address. Again, I find it ironic that DIRECT TV, a technically advanced company, does not have phone numbers or emails available. Do you think someone may be hiding???
