Complaint Review: Direct TV

Direct TV Gave me the run around for 3 days when my service was interrupted. I was promised a phone call by a supervisor, but no one ever called. I called again to get the number to the local office, but they told me that Direct TV has to give me a work order number and that they can't help me. ripoff Internet

On Friday, December 1st, 2006, in Woodbridge, Virginia, we experienced high winds which interrupted my Drect TV service. I tried resetting all my receivers to no avail. I waited until Saturday, figuring that it will all reset itself, but that did not happen.

I finally gave in and called Direct TV. I explained to them that my service was out (searching for satellites) and that I want to be able to watch my NFL and NBA packages that I pay and extrodinary amount for. I was told that next available day would be Tuesday, November 5th. Of course, this is not acceptable and I, again, explained to them that I pay a lot of money for these packages and would like the benefit of watching them.

After calling, they gave me the run around for 3 days. I was promised a phone call by a supervisor, but no one ever called. I called again to get the number to the local office, but they told me that Direct TV has to give me a work order number and that they can't help me. They then transferred me to Direct TV and I was put on hold for 20 minutes without speaking to anyone.

Finally, after being frustrated fo the whole weekend, I climbed on my roof and adjusted the satelite myself. Right now, I have a broom stick keeping the dish pointed in the right direction. I F**king hate Direct TV and would like to start a Class Action lawsuit against them.
