Complaint Review: Direct TV

Direct TV I called the customer service line asking why my bill that guaranteed to be $44.00 per month has never been that. The rep was very rude, talked over me and made no effort to explain what all of the ex one Rockafeller Plaza, New York

I called Direct TV to inquire about why my bill has never been the $44.00 they promised me for 2 years. The rep. was rude, could not answer my questions. He kept talking over me. They gave me showtime as a promotional come on but he said I was supposed to call at the end of the period to cancel. I said why cancel something I did not ask for?? he said that is my problem.  Now I find out I am locked in for 2 years. (((competitor's name redacted))) is looking much better right now.

 sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company, ..plus, if you post a competitors name more than likely they will show up on search engines as a Rip-off! - - your comments on this policy are welcome.
