In December of 2007, Bell South convinced me to sign up for Direct TV at the same time I was signing up for new local phone service. I was told they had more HD channels than anyone else. After about 2 months of problems getting HD reception, not being able to watch the Super Bowl in HD was the last straw. The company representatives repeatedly told me that they were having satellite problems. So I went back to Comcast and Direct-TV wants me to pay $400 early cancelation charge. I have refused and they have turned it over to a collection agency who has been bugging me for weeks. I do not intend to pay this charge.
