Complaint Review: Direct TV

Direct TV Their equipment crashes and you have to wait 3 business days to get it replaced, which actually ends up being 5 days total since it occurred on a Friday. Then they have the nerve to try and charge me $19.95 for shipping. Nationwide

Their server box/DVR dies on Friday on a holiday weekend. They say they will ship a new box to arrive in 3 business days.  You can't drive 5 miles without seeing a Direct TV Service vehicle, but they aren't for service, new customers only. So, there is no service. Once you sign the 2 year contract, you're leverage is gone. BTW, they didn't provide the "free"  NFL package either. As much as I hate TWC and the fact that they were rated as one of the worst providers of customer service, Direct TV was somehow worse.
