in mid summer I signed up for their tv service  They were too cheap to send someone out to hook it up, so I hired a tech to set it up Out of 3 tvs one did not work at all, and the other 2 did not work well. I told them to come out and make it work. They refused and I had no choice but to cancel the service. They told me they has a cancellation fee, but I told them it was not valid because they didnt furnish anything that worked  I received no bills but on 9-11 they hammered my  debit card for 720 dollars  I gave them no permission to use this card for a cancellation fee i GAVE THEM NO PERMISSION TO DO THAT    i deserve a refund

First off, the Direct TV contract says their maximum early cancellation fee is $480. Secondly, their contract and several times on their website say they provide FREE installation unless there's some sort of unusual aspects of the install. Thirdly, this sounds like the very typical deadbeat cable tv trick of ordering service, not liking service or inability to pay and then claiming the service never worked. Based on YOUR FIGURES, it very clearly looks like you ordered service and never made any payments. Don't bother wasting the effort. I'll tell you ahead of time, I don't work for them.

How is it even possible to sign up for satellite service without installation? And if it is possible, why would you do it? If you did hire some rando to put it together, it’s no wonder it doesn’t work, and it’s no wonder the company wouldn’t stand behind work they didn’t do.
