Direct USA Foods old meat, rancid, horrible, non-edible Joliet, Illinois
I am embarrassed to admit that I bought food from these low-lifes. I wouldn't give the meat to my dog. It tastes like old onions. Do not make the same mistake as me. Anyone who reports that the food is "good" or "okay" is either working for them or has no taste buds. They gave me a fake cell phone number to call them back. Even their website is a front. You can't contact them. I am going to their Joliet office tomorrow and throwing their meat back at them... literally. I am so d**n mad! In these hard economic times, deals are appealing but do not fall for this one. There is no deal here... only bad meat!

After talking with the famous, Cathy (who was soooo rude... lol) she informed me that a check was sent out to me yesterday for a full refund. She told me that she was mad I contacted the BBB, but... they are selling a poor product, that should be noted at least. So if you do not hear from me again, assume I got my check and all is well. My advice for people dealing with this company is: when trying to get a refund, hit them hard and hit them fast. Do not hesitate to contact the BBB. It seemed to make them move pretty fast for me :)

I went to the Joliet office today and was assured that I would get a refund check in the mail for the entire amount. I also called the headquarters in Florida and inquired about the refund. We will see what happens. I assured the Joliet manager, Mike, that he would be hearing from the BBB, the police, and local newspapers if he did not follow through with this. The lesson I am taking from it is that if something doesn't feel right... it's not! Never take the chance and buy from these creeps! Will update later about refund of futher actions taken.
