I ordered $98 worth of flowers on-line from Direct Gardening 9/23/11 and they haven't arrived as of 10/25/11.  The company already has charged my credit card for the amount and I'm working with the card company on that.

Is this a scam? I don't know yet, but it sure feels like it. Company officials have twice claimed the order has been shipped, but can't provide a tracking number or any confirmation of shipment, and all I get in response to e-mails are form-letter e-mail in return.

Gardeners beware of Direct Gardening. You may or may not get your order, and it might not arrive in time for the seasonal planting you'd planned on. In my high-altitude zone, spring flowers need to be in the ground by the end of Oct at the latest. It doesn't look like mine will be, thanks to Direct Gardening, and that means most of my $98 could be a loss.
