DirectTV states in a newspaper article that on July 12, people will start receiving local tv stations free of charge This is a lie! Los Angeles California

On July 12, the local newspaper carried a article in which DirectTV stated they would offer access to local tv stations free of charge. They failed to say in the article that this access was only valid for a month. Now they have taken the local tv channels off and to get them restored, a person has to pay a fee.

I called DirectTV and was informed that I had only received a preview. Of course, they would be more than happy to restore the service for a fee. I asked the *manager* why they stated that local access would be free of charge if it was only a preview. She couldn't give me a response nor could she explain why they couldn't run a simple message on the screen telling subscribers that the stations were strictly preview and it would end on X date.

I will contact Roxanne Austin, but I'm not hopeful that this will be resolved. Thanks DirectTV!
