I ordered DirecTv. When it was finally installed at 9:00pm on a Saturday, after the installer cut my water main, I did not have the programming I was promised. I called customer service on Monday. I was told that the programming I wanted was not available in my area (network channels), that I could put in a request for a waiver and pay for the services that I was told I would get for what I had already agreed to pay. The rep told me that I could cancel the service since it was not outside the three day time frame for early cancellation with no penalties.

On Wednesday, DirecTv charged my credit card $325 for an early cancellation fee. I called that night and was told
that I was right; I should not have been charged that fee, but it will take six to eight weeks to get my money back due to their procedures.
