Originally, when I contacted the company to establish the service, I was requesting a DVR and subtitles. The 2 year contract explained was expected at $45 after tax a month for the 1st year and DVR service was free. When the installer arrives, the first thing he does is calls the activation department to have you verify the information over the phone. After agreeing and the installation was all set, I asked the installer to show me how to set the subtitles. He explained that this box didn’t have it. When I received my first bill and then second bill which was over $20 more than stated, customer care mentioned the DVR service was not free. Later to find out that the DVR service is disabled and will not work in a business because some legality issue of having DVR in a showroom. No DVR, and no subtitles defeats the purpose of the system. I called to cancel and pay for the 2 year cancellation to find out the company put me on a 3 year contract. I spoke to the manager who did not seem the least bit interested in helping the issue. I contacted channel 13, BBB, and the consumer protection agency, by the time I received calls back from these organizations I was too involved in work and didn’t have the time or energy to fight back. This company is as crooked as it comes. Fees lies and under expectations.
