Received AAA Living, auto club's magazine for members. There is always a section on savings that members receive from different stores and businesses. In this issue, on page 11, Slam-Dunk Savings, there is a notice on how to receive a credit from Directv. The savings would be a $10 credit on your monthy bills for 24 months, a free HD receiver or DVR upgrade and free installation. When I call Directv to sign up for my credit to my bill, I was told that this was for new customers only. No where in the AAA ad does it say new customers. I brought this to the reps. attentions and she said well we can give you a $100 credit, if you sigh up for a 12 month commitment, the credit will be on month 2 and month 13. This is deceptive and fraudulent. They get you to call and then say we can't give you this; but you can have that.
