DIRECTV Riped off by Directv. Signed up for Choice Xtra, free lifetime HD and more. I received the least package Choice and charged for the lifetime HD. Refused to fix it. Said if I didn't catch it in the" Internet
· I was charged $21 to set up the billing directly to my Visa card and told this was mandatory to be with DirecTV. On my last call was told I didn’t have a direct billing set up and there was nothing they could do, yet my credit card is being charged. My friend that I recently referred on the $100 special said she was told that a $21 charge was for mailing the receiver. Every time we talk to someone we get completely different information.
Maybe that is why they mandate a Two-Year Contract. Many would cancel long before the 2 yrs., after experiencing the terrible customer service/ inconsistencies and wrong charges/set-ups.
I guess these big companies think that customer service isn’t needed and that’s why they need to lock them into a 2 yr. Contract! I will say the installer was a delight. The only best part of this bad experience. Even Comcast has better customer service than Directv and that is NOT saying anything good for them.
