I've had Hughesnet internet for 2 yrs this past June I started having slowdowns and internet cuts in service.  I called the Tech support in India, the service fellow who you can't understand sent me through a whole host of procedures that included going into DOS and changing things there.  It "fixed" it for about 3 days.  That next weekend I called again because we couldn't even get into the net.  After 2 hrs of them going all over what we did the week before they decided my modem was "broke".  Do I want another modem for $169.00 well yea I need the internet for business.  4 days later, mind you I'm paying for service I'm not getting at this time 70 bucks a month.  I get the modem, plug it in, something's wrong.  I spend a few days trying to figure out what on my own, those techs are really hard to understand.  I still have the old modem. They want it back or I'll rack up a $125.00 charge.  I start getting spam email, and also interupting blips across my screen "reminding" me to send it back.  If it's  "broken" what's the rush? We ship it fedex I called them today.  They not only don't have my account name right, they "say" they have my email wrong.  Funny I'm getting email spam??? and my credit card is getting charged monthly. So we go through this whole crap of "fixing" my name and email. ok thank you, I will give you this case number for this call. The spam will stop, I have a note on your account that you mailed back our worthless $125.00 broken modem that we will die if we don't get it back.  Since that call at 9am this morning I have received 3 spam reminders across my screen.  It is now only 3:04pm.  I tried to call the billing dept, they are the one's who are in charge of this problem.  They are at a busy time right now please call back at a later time.  I have all the case numbers and times for every tech and billing call I've made.
