I had bought a Dirt Devil vacuum TWICE! Why, because I thought the first one was a fluke. Both times I adjusted the carpet level (low) and followed instructions on use. I vacuumed my floor only twice with each vacuum and after that there was no suction. The second vacuum, I vacuumed once and the belt broke.

I called Royal Appliance and complained about their shoddy product and that I remember when vacuums lasted for years, not one week. They told me that I could not get my money back or the item replaced but that I had to go to their appointed appliance repair shop and have it repaired for an additional cost.

The appliance store charged me for parts and labor. All in all, I paid $54 or $108 for two Dirt Devils and $200 to fix the vacuums. They still have poor suction.

Now I have 2 useless Dirt Devils and dirty carpets and no satisfaction. Don't buy Dirt Devil's disposable vacuums.
