Complaint Review: Discount Global Travel

Discount Global Travel management does a terrible job following up and resolving customer service issues! Ripoff Royal Oak Michigan

I was not surprised to find others with somewhat similar situations in dealing with Discount Global Travel. My wife and I became members this past year and have experienced nothing but dissatisfaction. The allure of signing a membership with their great discounted travel' services came along with a free travel/getaway gift.'

To date, we have one year's worth of documented paperwork attempting to receive this free travel/getaway gift' that has cost us $100 plus multiple U.S. Postage stamps. The last correspondence received regarding the free travel/getaway gift' came along with a balance due of $501.40 [again for the free travel/getaway gift.'

During the course of this past year, I have made numerous calls to the Royal Oak office and have never been able to speak directly to the manager. I have always had to leave a message. Days will pass and then we will receive a call back. I have mailed a year's worth of correspondence to their office with our dissatisfaction.

Nothing has been resolved. I have asked for a full refund for membership. Nothing has been resolved. Don't underestimate the power of the Internet if there's a problem it'll be found.

If this client would like one of our current promotions we would be happy to replace the one they are dissatisfied with. All promotions are bought from separate outside companies.

We pre-pay for the certificate of travel the client receives whether the client uses it or not. We will be happy to send them one of our current promotions if they would like. The only fees the client will have to pay are taxes on the promotional vacation. It states this clearly in the promotion.
