Complaint Review: Discount Jungle

Discount Jungle Overcharges for shipping, sells defective items and will not pay for shipping to or from. Charges processing on defective sales items. California

 Ordered a Toshiba VCR?/DVD combo unit from Discount jungle. Price was $149 and they charged $20.71 shipping. Unit was defective and authorized as such from Toshiba. They told me to return it to vendor. Discount Jungle wanted me to pay the return shipping, in addition they refused to pay the outlandish shipping charges to send me the defective item and on top of all that they have the gual to charge $14.90 for "processing" fee.

All in all it would have cost me over $60 to return a defective product that only cost $149.  Amazon.com interviened and made them send me a return shipping label but when they processed the refund it was for only $134.09 so it has cost me $35.61 to order a product which Discount Jungle sent defective in the first place.

I am working with Amazon.com, a very good and reputable company, to get Discount Jungle to refund my total costs. I would not order anything from Discount Jungle.  Be sure to read their return policy.  They overcharge shipping and if the item is factory defective they will not return the shipping charges and in addition charge 10% Processing fee. They send you defective items and overcharge shipping to make money when you wish to return it.
