I purchased a set of mattresses from Mr. Phillips in April 09. Around Christmas I noticed the cover was coming apart on the underneath side. I contacted Mr. Phillips and sent him pictures at his request and he said he would get with the manufacture and get back with me. I didn't hear back from him so on Feb. 2 I emailed him and ask him if he had heard anything yet. He replied back on Feb. 5 and said he sent the pictures to the manufacture and he would get back to me. Feb.9 I emailed him again to see what he was going to do and he emailed me back on Feb.12 and said he hadn't heard back from them but it takes a few weeks and he would get back to me. On March 2 I emailed him again and told him it had been over a month and I didn't understand what was taking so long. I told him to give me the manuf. number and I would call them myself that the mattress was under warrenty and I needed something done. On March 3 he emailed me back and said the manuf. wanted to know if I had stored the mattress because that would make the foam shift. He said he would let me know as soon as he heard back from them. I emailed him back that same day and told him the mattress had not been stored that they had been on my bed since the day I purchased them. March 5 he emailed me back and said he would let the manuf. know and get back to me.

On March 25 I still hadn't heard anything so I emailed Mr. Phillips again and told him that it had been another 3 weeks and I still hadn't heard anything from him that it had been 2 months and there is no reason why he shouldn't have taken care of this by now that they are still under warrenty and I either wanted my mattress exchanged or my money refunded so I could purchase another mattress. I again ask for the manuf. number to call them myself. I explained that when I purchased the mattress the he told me if I had ANY problems to let him know and he would take care of it and I had only had the mattress for 8 months and they were defective and he needed to get this took care of. I explained to Mr. Phillips that I was getting very frustrated with all of this and to please let me know if they were going to replace them or refund my money. As usual I didn't hear back from Mr. Phillips so I emailed him again on April 1st and ask one more time for him to get back with me and he still never has.

Mr. Phillips assured me when I purchased the mattress that they were first quality and if I ever had any problems to call him and he would take care of it. Obviously they lie and misslead customers to get the sale and then don't stand behind their word!!! I have contacted the BBB on this company and Mr. Danny Phillips and want everyone to know how they do business! They sell you defective merchandise and tell you it is top quaility and "if" you were to have any problems they will take care of it but when you do have a problem they just put you off and don't do anything! Once they get your money then their done with you!

Unless Mr. Phillips takes care of this issue as promised I plan to let everyone I can know what a RIP OFF this company is and how they don't stand behind what they sell even though they tell you they will just to get your money! I am also going to contact 6 on your side in addition to any legal actions that I need to.

DON'T BUY MATTRESS FROM THIS BUSINESS OR MR. DANNY PHILLIPS, YOU WILL BE SORRY!!!!!!!!

Replacement mattress.

This mattress was replaced even though we could clearly see that the mattress had been stored and the damage was caused by a rodent.  It takes time to go through the channels with the mattress companies and we eventually made the replacement at our cost.  We are a small company and we just expect honesty from our customers, as they would expect from us.  Not the first time we have been lied to and it won't be the last.

We're sorry but warranties are through manufacturers and this mattress had what looked like a rodent had carved out a round hole and had possibly been stored on it's side because of the condition.  Also, your mattress must have a waterproof cover and be clean for the manufacturer to honor a warranty.  This is an OSHA requirement.

Know what your talking about before you speak

Obviously you DON"T know about mattresses or you wouldnt of even commented about a "dust cover" whatever that is. The pictures are of the mattress not any kind of cover. As far as wasting my time and the company's time I have to disagree with your there too. My mattresses were replaced with a completely new and different set by the manufacture of the mattress. I was given a more expensive, better made, set along with a very sincere apology from the manufacture who I must say is very concerned with there customers being satisfied instead of just making a sell and not standing behind their product as Danny Phillips at Discount Mattress does. So please before you comment on post on here you need to make sure you know what your talking about first. You might also want to get alot more training on mattresses since you claim to "know about mattresses" clearly you dont know as much as you think you do.

I know beds and I see no defects in the 2 photos you have on here.  Dust covers are not covered, so you wasted your time and the retailers time filing your claim. Show me better pictures. as it is see nothing wrong with it.
