i ordered about $3000 worth of baby items from discount warehouse the associate's name was caroline. i was told that it was mostly store returns and items that had been clearanced out.

well the first shipment they sent was totally wrong. it was used clothing and bookbags with no zippers and kids names on them with boxes and boxes of just sheets and crap all mixed in together with no kind of orginization or even boxes in tact. the delivery people they recommended didn't even have a dolly and we had to take everything off the truck ourselves.

did i mention our promised wrong shipment was 2 days off schedule? any way i called the place and all they could do was blame each other, it was either the shipping companies fault or theirs and then it was kmarts, hahaha. anyway i bitched and bitched then finally 2 weeks later after calling hourly they shipped me the right crap and i do mean crap and wanted me to pay $1000 for the crap they sent me.

i did agree to pay for they wrong shipment but only to recieve the right stuff and i have no intention of either paying for or ordering from them again.

From The Discount Warehouse's point of view all customers read and sign a Term of Sale before they even send us their money. Also we try in every way to help the customers with credits on the next purchases. This merchandise can be Store returns, Overstock and or Self Pulls, and is made quiet clear on the website. You can read the terms @ http://tdwcloseouts.com/qanda.html#p. We have been around for over 13 years and have customers that read and understand the Terms of Conditions and know what they are buying. Just read what one customer wrote about us.

I have a question....would you return perfectly working merchandise to a store? Probably not...So, in you buying these RETURNED goods from TDW...goods that were ADVERTISED as RETURNS, one would definitely figure these goods were broken. That is why TDW can offer you PALLETS of merchandise for cheap...It is not stuff to give your relatives for presents or anything...it is RETURNED DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE ...mainly meant for repair and resale...You are not going to get things in mint or even near mint condition and to expect that is ridiculous. Please don't go expecting something because, in my honest opinion, you got what you paid for and did not get ripped off. Joshua - Owosso, Michigan.
