DiscountBAT.COM Sent 2 bad batteries of which I had to send the first out at my expense. San Diego California
I ordered a new battery for a Dell Latitude D630 give or take around 09/30/16. The battery lasted around 2 weeks and then stopped charging. I tested the D/C PS and it is within standards - around 19.2 VDC. After emailing the vendor, they sent another battery (though I had to pay the cost for the return shipping) and received another around 2-3 weekws later. During that time, I ordered another battery at less than 1/2 the cost on eBay which is working 100% perfectly.
To make a long story short, the replacement battery from DiscountBATT was in complete failure - according to the BIOS, there was no battery installed (and therefore could not be charged) and the battery indicator LED was showing the battery was in complete failure - 3x flashed orange, 1 green. Reinserting the battery numerous times as well as cleaning up the tines showed the same result - battery failure, right out of the box. I checked Dell's forums and verified from many posts the battery was in complete failure.
Contacting the company numerous times via email I had asked them for a shipping label as I was not willing to pay the return shipping for a bad battery for the 2nd time. After numerous emails, their final response was this which was sent and received today 10/14/16. We only offer 2 replacements within 30 days (even though their batteries are supposed to be warrantied for a year) and they would not be willing to give me a shipping label to have this battery tested out? I never even got the results of the 1st battery though I had asked and got nothing but diatribe. They tried to blame it on the laptop, but again the battery I purchased through ebay around 4-5 weeks ago is charging perfectly and gives me around 2-2.5 of use depending on what I'm using the unit for.
Caveat Emptor - let the buyer betware. This company is indeed a rip-off and there is no way I'd make another purchase from them. I would suggest any would do the same unless you wish to go through the time, effort and grief that I did.
Save yourself a lot of potential aggravation...

Christopher
