I received an offer on the mail from Discover Financial Services about no fee and 0% ballance transfer. I immediately accepted this offer and made a call to Discover Credit Card. I spoke with their representative for about 30 min. to verify this offer. The third party confirmed and recorded our conversation about transferring $6,700 at no fee and 0% transfer. This offer was supposed to be good untill July of 2004. After one month I got my first statement and noticed that Discover Card transferred ballance from other credit cards at 5.6% instead of 0% and charged me fee on that transaction.

I called to the customer service with complain about this matter. They told me that I need to speak with their retention department, so they can make an adjustment to my account. Than I spoke with Criss ID#5785 and he promised me to take care of it.

On next month I got another monthly report and noticed that Discover Financial Services did not do any adjustment on my account. I still was charged 5.6% on the ballance transfer. I called to them again. They explained that there is nothing thay can do about that because when I originally called, the offer was expired. Discover closed my account and forced me to pay a full amount. My husband told me that same thing was happened to him with the same company, only 2 years ago.
