To Whom It May Concern:
I havent even signed up for your services yet and am already highly frustrated with the service and lack of knowledge and good customer service.
We just moved to Davis and want to purchase a bundle package of phone, internet, and dish for three televisions. We currently have Comcast as our service.
However, on the three occasions that I have called, I have spoken to four representatives with four different stories about service.
First, EACH time, I was transferred about 5 times until they had me in the right department, most of them stating, I dont know why they transferred you here, this is tech or business.
Two of the times, they offered me AT&T as internet service and proceeded to set up, but there were complications with my card and I had to call back.
When I called back, a rep told me she didnt understand why the former reps had tried to set me up with AT&T (it was the only one they offered) because she said your contracts are over with them but there were other options available for internet.
She then transferred me to a rep who told me that only the dish is available in my area and not phone or internet. I asked him very politely if I could speak to a manager, surely at this point anyone would understand why.
He refused to let me speak to a manager and told me, I am not going to make him get up from his desk just to tell you the same thing.
I told him there is no way I want to order any service from dish now with that kind of service and hung up.
He could have made a sale on at least the television service.
Too many companies seem to think they can treat people this way for top dollar from our budget. Maybe they feel we need their service so they can get away with it. In this economic climate, what they dont realize is that some of us consumers would rather go without then give substandard providers our business.
I am hoping someone who does give a care will read and respond to this letter.
Sincerely,
