Dish Network Bogus Credit Card Installation Charge Internet
When I scheduled an appointment, the Dish Network sales rep told me that there would be no installation charge if they were unable to obtain a signal. The installer was unable to get line of sight to the satellite. Two charges appeared on my credit card. One was entitled DISH INSTALLATION. The other was entitled Dish Network-one time fee. The one time fee of $37 was refunded. The installation charge of $50 was not. Dish Network claimed it was not their charge, but a third party unknown to them. I did not talk to any third party in scheduling the installation. The installer was driving a Dish Network van. Dish Network disavows the charge was theirs and maintain that they are unable to refund it.

Hello! This is Dan Busa with DISH Network customer support. I understand the frustration with being charged for an installation that could not take place. An installation charge if applicable, under any promotion that you sign under will typically be for $99. The fee in question sounds as though it was charged through a third party as it is for a different amount. Also when an account cannot be set up due to no line of sight, the system will automatically refund all charges applicable. Because a DISH Network installer connected you it sounds as though it was possibly a sales partner that set the account up. I would be more than happy to look into this to ensure this is the case and that no errors were made. I would also love to look for contact information to resolve this for you further.
