Ok, I know I know. I've seen all the horror stories on Dish and Direct TV. I had to go with one and chose Dish. A friend provided me with a referral promo code so I thought I could get a couple of promotions. I call and get Tim H. He tells me that he cannot place 2 promo codes on my account but that calling their 1800 8949131 I could the next day he just could not enter 2 codes at the same time.

I wanted 2 promo codes, 1 for an $100 Amazon gift card (see Amazon for details) and the other is the Dish $50 referral. This provides $50 to both the referral and referrer and 5 free pay per view movies.

Of course when I call and talk to Carl I am told they can only process 1 promo code. So beware, regardless of what you are told and lied to by the sales rep (and I did speak to a Dish sales rep not a partner) they will only honor 1 promotion.

When I called I had to ask for the Executive resolution team. Don't bother with anyone else as they have no authority. Effrin G. on the Executive team offers me $5/month for 6 months instead of the $50 referral. Its the "best" he can do. I ask for his supervisor Cristina. She says that is the best they can do. I ask for a written apology and she says Dish has a rule they do not write apologies (big clue on there corporate values). I tell Cristina how I feel lied to and they have no integrity. She tells me that if she felt that way she would cancel the order and that if she were me she would cancel (another big clue). So of course they don't want to write that.

I'm still debating on whether to cancel. Their reps lie to suck you into the contract and then they don't honor it when you call them out on it. They don't write apologies as a corporate rule. If wasn't the money in the end but the principle of honoring what I was told. They had a option to do something good and it would have cost them $20 more and they didn't do it. That is the sad part. the company I work for gives employees the authority to replace up to $2000.

If you call Dish always ask for their executive resolution team (303)9428605.
