I got rid of Dish Network on March 3rd, and asked for a final bill to be sent. I never received one until Saturday, April 9th. Meanwhile, it had been farmed out to a collection agency.

After more than 30 minutes on the phone, I finally got to speak to an executive resolution team member, and paid the remaining bill of some 20 dollars and change.

Their sending my information to a collection agency illustrates graphically their dedication to customer abuse, their love of intimidation, their pure delight in threatening customers, and their sheer lack of any desire to promote customer satisfaction, which is why I dumped them back in early March.

The BEST thing I ever did was to get rid of Dish Network. I can only recommend Dish Network for those who enjoy being victimized, abused, harrassed, intimidated, threatened and treated like the host of their parasitic practices.

Do NOT, please, for your own well being, DO NOT use Dish Network. Understand that there are much better services out there, and you do not need this haughty attitude from Dish Network. If you have Dish Network,.... get yourself free of them.

They do not respect you, so why should you profit them?

I used to work at dish network- it takes 78 days PAST THE DUE DATE OF THE BILL before you are sent to collections- so that means an extra 20 days after the bill was issued, thats a very very long time. Saying that your final statement took too long to arrive is no excuse for neglecting to pay your bill, you called and paid it after all, you could have done that months earlier. If my electricity bill was lost in the mail I would certainly still pay it on time because I know there is an amount due even if the paper doesnt make its way to me.
