We signed up with DISH Network, under the assumption it was a great deal. As time went on our bill has greatly increased. From $40 a month to $70 a month, due to " programing access fees" and a protection plan, we DID NOT ask for!

For the above reason, we decided to cancel our service. Unknown to us, they say there is a "cancelation fee" of $13.99 a month. THEY DO NOT POINT THIS OUT apon signing of contract! They only point out thier so called "advantages" of going with DISH Network. They don't mention it over the phone, and they don't point it out apon signing and they don't give you the opportunity to sit and read contract before signing.

The installer is in, does his/her work, then asks you to sign showing completion of install, then BAM!!! your sucked into thier fine print bs!

This is not fair to cunsumers who make a decision that they cannot afford thier service.

They claim to be "#1 in customer satisfaction" HAH!!! Sure, as long as you pay what they want!!

I noticed lots of complaints on the Ripoff Report site. Is there someone out there who can help us?!, or are these reports that we are filing just for the purpose of us killing time?
