Complaint Review: Dish Network LLC

Dish Network, LLC Bait and Switch, False Advertising, SCAM Englewood, Colorado

Dish Network advertised an enticing, low price deal that required a 24 month contract agreement. Less than one month into the "Agreement" theyraised the price of the service by $5 per month. This leaves the customer bounded by the initial contract and unable to renege on such contract without paying an unreasonable cancellation fee of $17.50 per month. How can they increase the price as they see fit and screw over the customer, but still bind them to the full contract term?

I see this as an unethical tactic that they employed in order to rope in new customers at falsely advertised prices. I believe that they had to have known the prices were increasing, so they advertised the "Free HD for Life" deal at the lower prices, only to raise the price the minute the deal was over and the contracts were secured. Dish Network is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Stay away from this company and don't believe their claims of best customer service or best HD quality. Youtube and Netflix look better on my television than their "HD" service.
