Complaint Review: DISH NETWORK

We had no idea that DISH Network  was so completely unethical and would act so illegally. It never occured to us to check for complaints, but there they were, pages and pages of them.

Getting the DISH was easy and it was a new unit. But we began having problems immediately and continually, so much so that we lost track of the number of problems and we wrote down each call and whom we spoke with.

The contract was  completely non-understandable and the installer was not helpful and impatient and repeatedly told us to call the office, he didn't have time to explain. Each time we called and asked for help we were told that there were absolutely no notes kept from that conversation. This happened three times.

After our third to the last bill came which went way up after one year, we called to cancel, that we couldn't afford the price and our viewing pleasure was steadily disappearing. We were told that even though the promo was over our contract still had nine more months to go, so either suffer through no television or pay up $135. on the credit card and send the receiver back at our cost of $20.00.

Even refused to shut off service and continue to bill us. We sent back the receiver, filed a complaint with the CA. Attorney General, waiting for the charge to hit the credit card so we can fight back. They ruined our credit. God is watching and hearing all and will hold you accountable and payable!
