When i ordered Dish Network i was promised better customer service and better service than cable. well i didnt get it. my box is constintaly freezing up the picture is constantaly going out and when i ordered a movie that was suppose to be an all day play the fact that it only lasted from 5 am to 5pm flashed by so fast i never saw it. when i contacted dishnetwork i was told it would cost me over $200. TO CANCEL IT AND THEN I WAS TOLD I WAS JUST OUT OF LUCK ON SEEING THE MOVIE I ORDERED( IT WAS OVER AT 5AM) and it would cost me close to $30. just to get someone out here to see why my reciver is always freezing up and why my picture goes out all the time. Hoow is it dish network can get away with lying to their customers isnt anyone going to do anything about this. I know their was a lawsuit filed agenst them before and am wondering if their is one now?

Jackie I mean it seems like they have to practically give away there services for a while to make there deal sound good and make you sign a contract with a 200 dollar cancel fee to try to keep customers. It was going to cost you 30 dollars for a service call because all of there physical work is contracted out and a contractor is not going to go out to your house for free to fix somehting. That is one part that is way different from cable service if your cable box would act up it would not cost you one red cent to have it fixed by the cable company.
I do not know who the Cable provider is in your area but sounds like they would love to have you back as a customer. Also I just need to mention that I do work for a large cable company in Indiana, but I have a really good freind that installs satillite service, this is how I know what I have told you, plus I have gotten some of the info from ex satillite customers.
