Complaint Review: Echostar dish networks

Dish network ripoff turned off our recevier now wants us to pay 150 for a new one

We have had our dish system for eight months and up untill two weeks ago everything was good. I liked it so much that I ordered one for my parents for christmas.

Now I wish I would have never, we have two receviers in our home and one was not working so we call dish network to see what was up first they said that they would send the UPS person to pick it up and they would fix it then they called back to tell us they would not and we had to pay 150 dollars for a new one.

Why because we were stealing programming Ha what a joke not possible we pay 80 dollars a month for our programming why would we steal if we had figured out a way to get it for free. So I was mad called them back to get to the bottom of things and got switched around to Four diffrent people.

The supervisor I talked to told me it was our problem and we should not have stole and that there was nothing they could do but the tech that I talked to before him said they could not tell exactly what was wrong just that there was a problem and that they would fix it can you belive that so i wrote an e-mail to this charlie ergen and no response.

I want to make people aware so that they also do not get into something that will cost you more time money and energy than worth PLEASE beware. Or pray you never have problems because this company will not help you stand behind there customers that pay there wages or even care.

I got a call from a Woman named Brandi with Dish network they are going to replace our recevier and discount our next bill. That is all I wanted was a replaced recevier no at our expense sense we did nothing wrong. I highly recomend e-mailing the company because they do respond in 24 hours and they did work out the problem. Thank you to this web site I got all the e-mail adresses from here and it has been very informative to me. Thank you again Trish

who are not honest individuals and determining who is being honest and

call most certainly should have been forwarded to the department dealing
with this matter and while they might not have been available if it were
afterhours, they most certainly should have been left a message by the
agent
to whom you spoke so that they could respond to you.
